Want to ramp up your social media engagement?
1. Show real interest.- that means give a stuff – care about it!
Showing interest is not enough , actually writing back to your twitters, facebook followers and actually mean what you say, do not patronize them, discuss, speak to listen to and read what the are saying to you and each other, get to understand them. Show that you give a damn
2. Write some real stories,
Tell them the stories, things that have happened, where you have been, things that happen to others, forward stories and comments form others on your platforms.
3. Give them something
Give them something free , things that mean something to them, something of value that they will like. Then ask them to buy something from you. Buy something from them , recommend something from them.
Give them helpful tips in subjects that matter to them
4. Repost information
If you have a diverse group , when you are looking around the web look for things that matter in their niche or lifestyle and pass it on to them – Free. Refer them to your blog and others
5. Provide quality content.
Always keep this in mind: quality content is always king. Enhancing your social media presence depends on how you captivate your audience. And captivating your audience depends on the quality of your content. Give them the best possible Facebook status updates, tweets, Pinterest images, and blog posts.
6. Use open-ended questions on your sites
Ask a question at the end of your post. Try and spark a conversation by inviting them to discuss the point, product or recommend an answer to your small problems.
7. Use images and Video
Videos and photo’s are more eye-catching and can highly capture the attention of your audience. Use great and creative images to go along with your social media strategies and tactics. Use videos to keep them online on your page for longer, make them want to come back. Or Tag your site.
8. Get your site updated every day or every 12 hours ,
Sometimes it pays to work with a family member, someone that thinks like you and will answer the questions, and in doing so keep your site active and up to date
Working in your niche area, subjects that you like, that you can easily provide answers too. Do not go too wide and get out of your comfort zone, people will understand that easily of you do.
